| Some mail from a nonprofit ministry came addressed to my brother and his wife:
Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Ku Street Address City, State, Zip Code
It sat on his desk for months while I wasted away with curiosity, as my brother had never informed us of his present matrimonial state.
I guess my sister was more desperate than I, because one day she opened the envelope to find a missive beginning:
Dear Joshua and Isabelle Ku

Maybe I should cross-check with likewise benevolent-minded members of my family before subscribing to anything in the future.

| Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. The blond jokes, Asian brains, etc. Well, one of my deep-seated impressions was displaced today when I dropped by my anat & phys prof's office before lecture.
I went for a mundane reason, asking about special permission codes for registration, but we ended up talking a little politics--and get this:
NOT ALL COLLEGE PROFESSORS ARE LIBERAL!!
I was so excited to discover that he, too, understands Obama is a freaking Socialist. He's a very practical person. He did give me some hope too, that our system is pretty resilient, and even if O gets in, we can in all probability overturn his "change" in a few election cycles. Course it would be much better if we could prevent O's type of change in the first place.
I knew I loved A&P for more than one reason!

| for sure. He's so weird! He was telling us today how he has this thing about everything matching...so like now with Breast Cancer Awareness month and pink everywhere, he basically has a pink kitchen because he bought some pink cooking appliance or other (Y'all remember that big flour mixer thing in the kitchens at the RCI and South Campus? Yeah a mini one. He likes to cook and bake.) and he needs all his utensils and appliances to match it! Get this--he really wants to buy a pink pots/pans set...freak. Bet his girlfriend doesn't mind though.
And he likes citrus-scented body wash and lotion and was kinda ticked cuz he couldn't find a complete set at Bath & Body Works. So I guess I know what to get him for Christmas.
*disturbed*
With that being said, just in case he EVER randomly comes across this site and recognizes me (God forbid!) I will now say that he's still pretty cool and I'm gonna try to get into his lab section again next semester. Because really...we all like to know that our TAs are regular abnormal humans just like the rest of us. And it takes all kinds of people to make a world.

| do I post this entry. Because really, I have nothing to say right now. My inspirations have gone...old blog threads such as "Gav-isms," "Studies with Shaylene," and "A Jogger's Journal" no longer have their muse. The only one I could see reviving is "The Spice of Life," but my creative juices seem to have dried up--I'm not seeing anything worth one-lining about right now.
But have no fear, as long as I have life and breath left, things are bound to happen. Therefore, in a few weeks, I will likely be regaling you readers with colorful tales of anatomy lab and my latest business writing frustrations. Stay tuned.
And as always, thank you for reading! As Virginia once said, Xanga posts are all about comments.
~Edit~
Wow. No sooner do I write the above and sign out of the computer lab than those aforementioned interesting "things" start happening.
People do funny (and sometimes dangerous) things while they're driving. I'm guilty of this myself--I talk on the phone, change radio stations, fish in my backpack for who knows what, study for lab exams, and yes, text. Guess I have this stunt driver mentality or something. I've come close to causing major backups a few times, but by the grace of God it hasn't happened yet.
But one thing I haven't done (and in all probability NEVER will) is trim my nose hairs while sitting in traffic.

| instead of paying attention during the prayer, I decided something. I mean it did have something to do with whatever was going on during the service, so I wasn't being entirely apostate. I was going to post it up here, but now I can't remember what it is.
Should I try pulling an all-nighter tonight to study? We're testing on bones, articulations, connective tissue, and the integumentary system tomorrow. And I have a paper due. Coffeeeee...
